Our history

As Quebec’s pioneer travel health clinic, the Clinique Santé-voyage de la Fondation du CHUM has continued to set the standards in our field over the years. Founded in 1978, it was formerly known as the Clinique santé-voyage Saint-Luc.

Every year, our team of 15 travel health physicians and 12 nurses at the Clinique Santé-voyage receives over 30,000 visits, making the clinic one of the largest of its kind in North America. Through our affiliation with the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), our clinic can access support doctors representing nearly all the specialized fields available in a major university hospital centre – a very valuable resource for our team.

Besides helping thousands of people get ready to travel the healthy way each year, the Clinique Santé-voyage helps support the CHUM and its mission, since all profits from the clinic go directly to the Fondation du CHUM.
