Funding Activity: Josée Beauregard raises $ 8,685 in support of Alzheimer’s research

Montreal, June 29, 2011 Josée Beauregard has now announced the total of her sponsorship funding in support of research on Alzheimer’s disease. Among those present for the occasion were Benjamin Breiner, Company representative for Novartis and Ékram Antoine Rabbat, president and CEO of the Fondation du CHUM.

Following her adventure in the Australian outback, she successfully raised over $ 8,600, of which $ 2,500 came from Novartis, manufacturer of the Exelon patches used in the treatment of Alzheimer’s.

It should be noted that Josée Beauregard was the sole Canadian taking part in THE TRACK, a 590-km footrace in 9 stages in the Northern Territory. She participated in this remarkable race from May 10 to 19.
