Side effects of vaccination
Is it common to feel side effects after receiving a vaccine? How long does it take for them to go away? Can I return to work immediately after vaccination?
The most frequently observed side effects after vaccination are aching, a hot feeling, swelling or redness at the spot where the vaccine was injected. So you can return to work as soon as your visit is over. Some people will experience a slight fever for a day or two. Normally, all symptoms disappear after 24 to 48 hours. However, for certain types of vaccines, the side effects only begin to show a few days after vaccination.
At your vaccination session, the travel health nursing specialist will be able to answer all your questions and inform you about possible side effects.
